Skies were clear across western Kansas last night and through the
morning. Winds were light out of the west and northwest and lows
fell into the low to mid 40s.

An upper level ridge will continue to build and slowly move east
across the Rocky Mountains. At the surface, a ridge of high
pressure will remain in place over the Central Plains. Dry and
quiet weather is expected today across western Kansas. Winds will
remain light out of the north through the evening.

Highs today will climb into the mid to upper 70s across the
Central Plains. Lows tonight will slip into the mid to upper 40s
across the Central and Southern Plains.
