THE QUIET WEATHER PATTERN CONTINUED OVER WESTERN KANSAS THROUGH THE
MID MORNING HOURS. LOW TEMPERATURES WERE IN THE LOWER TO MID 30S
FROM SOUTHERN NEBRASKA TO SOUTHWESTERN KANSAS. A FEW LOWER 20S WERE
NOTED IN THE SOUTH CENTRAL HALF OF THE STATE.

UPPER LEVEL RIDGING OVER THE ROCKIES WILL MOVE OUT INTO THE CENTRAL
PLAINS TODAY AS ANOTHER UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE OVER THE WESTERN
UNITED STATES MOVES EAST OVERNIGHT. SURFACE TROUGHING WILL PREVAIL
ACROSS THE HIGH PLAINS THROUGH WEDNESDAY MORNING. A FEW RECORD HIGH
TEMPERATURES WILL BE IN JEOPARDY THIS AFTERNOON AS UNUSUALLY WARM
TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED TODAY. COOLER TEMPERATURES ARE FORECAST
FOR LATE WEEK WITH A CHANCE FOR SOME MOISTURE OVER THE WEEKEND.

HIGH TEMPERATURES TODAY WILL RANGE FROM THE MID 60S IN SOUTH CENTRAL
NEBRASKA TO THE UPPER 70S ALONG THE OKLAHOMA BORDER. A FEW 80S ARE
NOT OUT OF THE QUESTION. LOWS TONIGHT WILL RANGE FROM THE MID 30S IN
SOUTHERN NEBRASKA TO THE MID 40S AROUND OKLAHOMA CITY.
