Regional Weather Summary for Western Kansas

Skies were mostly clear across western Kansas today with a few
higher clouds. A few showers formed across the extreme
southwestern portions of the state during the evening hours. Winds
were out of the south at around 15-25 mph as highs today climbed
into the upper 70s to mid 80s across the Central Plains.

A weak upper level disturbance will pass over the Central Plains
this evening. At the surface, a weak cold front will push
southeast across Kansas. Showers and a few thunderstorms will
continue across western Kansas late tonight and through around
sunrise. Severe weather is not expected, but a few storms could
have gusty winds and small hail.

Lows tonight will range from the upper 40s in eastern Colorado
and northwestern Kansas to the low to upper 50s in the central
and eastern portions of the state. Highs tomorrow will climb into
the mid to upper 70s across the Central Plains.
