At 1145 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong, heavy thunderstorm near Buffalo, or 10 miles north of Winfield, moving northeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs or even trees, and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Ripley, Eleanor, Buffalo, Kenna, Sandyville, Leon, Statts Mills, Given, Southside, Cottageville, Grimms Landing, Evans, Fairplain, and Gay. This includes Interstate 77 in West Virginia between mile markers 126 and 148. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
