Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. Expect many areas of slow moving or standing water. It will take several hours for all the water from these storms to work through local drainage systems in urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1133 PM AST, river gauge along Rio Grande de Manati at Hormigueros remains above minor flood stage (16 feet), around 19.23 feet. Flood waters are still affecting portions of road PR-2 between Manati and Barceloneta. Emergency managers have closed a portion of this road between KM 51 and 52. For that reason, the Flood Warning has been extended. - This includes the following streams and drainages... Rio Cibuco_Coastal Watershed, Rio Grande de Manati and Coastal Watershed. Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law enforcement and request they pass this information to the National Weather Service when you can do so safely. && LAT...LON 1851 6658 1850 6657 1850 6656 1850 6654 1850 6653 1850 6651 1849 6650 1839 6646 1838 6653 1850 6658 $$ ICP
