.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

 HEAT AND HUMIDITY WILL RESULT IN HEAT INDEX VALUES IN THE UPPER 90S
 THIS AFTERNOON. OTHERWISE...A FEW STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS
 ARE POSSIBLE LATE TONIGHT ACROSS NORTHEAST KANSAS AND FAR NORTHERN
 MISSOURI. MAIN THREATS WOULD BE FROM TORRENTIAL RAIN...HAIL AND
 DAMAGING WINDS.
