Including the cities of Zapata, Hebbronville, Falfurrias, Sarita,
Rio Grande City, Roma, McAllen, Edinburg, Pharr, Mission,
Weslaco, Raymondville, Brownsville, Harlingen, Port Mansfield,
Port Isabel, South Padre Island, Laguna Heights, and Laguna Vista

Through 6 pm, light to moderate strength isolated showers and
thunderstorms will move northwest at 25 mph across portions of
deep South Texas, currently Hidalgo and Jim Hogg counties.
Occasional cloud to ground lightning, gusty winds to 35 mph and
brief heavy downpours may occur. Quick rainfall amounts of a half
an inch with isolated one inch amounts will be possible with the
stronger cells.
