.NOW...Through 4 AM...Scattered showers and a few thunderstorms
will persist over the lower Texas Gulf waters. These showers and
thunderstorms will continue moving south at around 15 to 20mph and
should remain mainly over the Gulf waters. Brief heavy rainfall,
gusty winds up to 30kts, and cloud-to-water lightning may be
possible in the stronger activity.
