AT 4 PM MDT...WIDELY SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUED TO AFFECT
MUCH OF SOUTHERN NEW MEXICO AND FAR WEST TEXAS. THE HEAVIEST
ACTIVITY WAS LOCATED OVER SOUTHERN OTERO COUNTY...AND WAS BEGINNING
TO SPREAD INTO PARTS OF DONA ANA AND EL PASO COUNTIES.

THESE THUNDERSTORMS ARE LIKELY TO SPREAD INTO THE EL PASO AND LAS
CRUCES AREAS BETWEEN 4 PM AND 6 PM. WIND GUSTS OVER 45 MPH...AND
LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL WILL BE POSSIBLE.

ELSEWHERE...ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS ARE LIKELY TO CONTINUE TO
DEVELOP OVER THE NEXT HOUR...AND MAY BECOME MORE WIDESPREAD
HEADING INTO THE EARLY EVENING HOURS.
