There was a mix of clear skies and cloudy skies with isolated
to scattered showers and thunderstorms overnight, as a warm
front lifted northeast into southwest Iowa and north central
Missouri. The showers and storms were mainly found west of the
Mississippi River and south of I 80 during the overnight
hours. Otherwise, calm and mild conditions prevailed, as
temperatures slipped into the upper 50s to mid 60s.

Brief scattered showers and thunderstorms will be found
across the area today, as the frontal boundary slowly nudges
into northeast Missouri and southeast Iowa. The majority of
the area will remain dry, with partly to mostly sunny skies
and light winds prevailing. Afternoon high temperatures will
mainly top out between 82 and 88 degrees.
