A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM LOCATED IN NORTHEAST KANSAS BROUGHT CLOUDY
SKIES...SOME RAIN SHOWERS...AND MILD TEMPERATURES TO THE UPPER
MISSISSIPPI RIVER VALLEY LAST NIGHT AND THIS MORNING. TWENTY FOUR
HOUR RAINFALL TOTALS OF A TENTH TO A THIRD OF AN INCH WERE FOUND
MAINLY ALONG AND NORTH OF A LINE FROM OTTUMWA...TO GALESBURG...TO
FREEPORT.  AREAS SOUTH OF THAT LINE RECEIVED A TRACE TO A COUPLE
HUNDREDTHS OF AN INCH...OR REMAINED DRY ENTIRELY. AS OF 7 AM...LOW
TEMPERATURES RANGED FROM 36 DEGREES AT FREEPORT...TO 52 DEGREES AT
KEOKUK AND FORT MADISON.

SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE TODAY...AS THE
STORM SYSTEM CONTINUES TO TRACK EASTWARD. RAINFALL TOTALS OF A
QUARTER INCH...UP TO AN INCH ARE POSSIBLE. HIGH TEMPERATURES WILL
RANGE FROM THE LOWER AND MIDDLE 50S ACROSS NORTHEAST IOWA...TO THE
LOWER 70S IN CENTRAL ILLINOIS.

WEST WINDS...GENERALLY SUNNY SKIES...AND PLEASANT TEMPERATURES WILL
BE COMMON ON FRIDAY.  HIGHS WILL REACH THE UPPER 60S TO MIDDLE 70S.
