Cloudy skies and light north northeast winds prevailed across the
area last night, as a low pressure system moved up the Ohio River
Valley and a cold front dropped south into northern Iowa and
southern Wisconsin. Towards daybreak, areas of drizzle and light
rain moved southwestward across parts of east central Iowa and
northwest Illinois with only a trace to a few hundredths of an
inch reported. As of 7 am, overnight low temperatures were in the
42 to 48 degree range.

Cloudy skies and light winds will prevail across the area this
afternoon, as high pressure builds into the area. Temperatures
will top out in the lower and middle 50s.
