High pressure over northern Illinois provided the area with
generally clear skies and calm winds overnight. As of 7 am,
overnight low temperatures ranged from 60 degrees in Freeport
up to 68 in Keokuk.

Partly to mostly sunny skies and calm winds will prevail
across the area today, as the high pressure area moves off to
the east and a cold front drops southeast into northwest Iowa.
Temperatures will once again top out in the 80s.

Shower and thunderstorm chances will be on the increase late
this afternoon and tonight, especially northwest of Highway 151.
