CLOUDY SKIES...SOUTHERLY WINDS...AND MILD TEMPERATURES PREVAILED
ACROSS THE AREA LAST NIGHT...AS A WARM FRONT SHOT NORTHEASTWARD
THROUGH THE REGION. A WEAKENING BAND OF SHOWERS WITH EMBEDDED
THUNDERSTORMS MOVED INTO AREAS NORTHWEST OF HIGHWAY 151 OVERNIGHT...
WITH SOME ISOLATED TO SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS FOUND
ACROSS EASTERN IOWA AND NORTHERN ILLINOIS. FOR AREAS THAT RECEIVED
RAIN...RAINFALL TOTALS WERE LIGHT...WITH AMOUNTS GENERALLY BETWEEN
A TRACE AND A TENTH OF AN INCH. LOW TEMPERATURES ACROSS THE AREA
WERE BETWEEN 60 AND 65 DEGREES.

A COLD FRONT ACCOMPANIED BY SOME SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS
WILL SWEEP SOUTHEASTWARD ACROSS THE AREA TODAY. RAIN CHANCES WILL
GRADUALLY DIMINISH FROM NORTHWEST TO SOUTHEAST THIS AFTERNOON...AS
SKIES BECOME PARTLY TO MOSTLY SUNNY BY LATE AFTERNOON. WEST SOUTHWEST
WINDS WILL BLOW AT 10 TO 15 MPH...AS TEMPERATURES CLIMB TOWARD
AFTERNOON HIGHS IN THE UPPER 70S TO MIDDLE 80S.
