Weather Summary for the MidSouth
National Weather Service Memphis TN
412 AM CST Sun Feb 25 2018

Most of the Mid-South will finally see a break from all the rain
on Sunday, except for portions of north Mississippi, where another
quarter to half inch of rainfall is expected. By Monday, the
entire Mid-South will finally see dry and mild conditions with
temperatures in the 60s and plentiful sunshine.

The dry spell will continue into much of Tuesday, before heavy
rain returns to the entire Mid-South Tuesday night through
Thursday night. Another two to four inches of rain is possible,
which could exacerbate current river and areal flooding once
again. Temperatures will remain mild with readings in the 60s
through Thursday. Behind a weak cold front, temperatures will
trend closer to normal for Friday and Saturday.
