...MIX OF RAIN AND SNOW SPREADING ACROSS THE AREA EARLY THIS
MORNING...

WAVES OF LIGHT RAIN AND SNOW WERE LIFTING NORTHEAST ACROSS THE
AREA EARLY THIS MORNING. THE PRECIPITATION WAS MORE SNOW ALONG AND
NORTH OF A LINE FROM CHARLES CITY IOWA TO LA CROSSE AND WISCONSIN
RAPIDS...TO MAINLY RAIN ALONG AND SOUTH OF AN OELWEIN IOWA TO LONE
ROCK WISCONSIN LINE.

THE PRECIPITATION WILL GRADUALLY TRANSITION TO ALL SNOW THROUGH
THE REST OF THE NIGHT...WITH MOST SNOW TOTALS IN THE 1/2 TO 1 INCH
RANGE. 1 TO 3 INCHES ARE EXPECTED WEST AND NORTH OF LA CROSSE.

AT THE ONSET...IT TAKES VERY LITTLE SNOW TO MAKE ROADS SLICK. EVEN
THOUGH IT APPEARS LITTLE IF ANY SNOW HAS ACCUMULATED ROADS MAY BE
BECOME SLIPPERY VERY QUICKLY. IF TRAVELING...ALLOW SOME EXTRA
TIME TO REACH YOUR DESTINATION.
