...STRONG WINDS AND BLOWING SNOW POSSIBLE SUNDAY AFTERNOON AND SUNDAY
EVENING...

A BAND OF LIGHT SNOW WILL MOVE ACROSS THE RED RIVER VALLEY SUNDAY
MORNING...AND NORTHWEST WINDS WILL INCREASE BEHIND A COLD FRONT
SUNDAY AFTERNOON. WINDS COULD GUST TO NEAR 50 MPH AT TIMES BY LATE
SUNDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING...AND THIS MAY PRODUCE BLOWING SNOW
IN OPEN AREAS. IF THESE WINDS OCCUR IN AREAS THAT HAVE AN INCH OR
MORE OF SNOW CURRENTLY ON THE GROUND...THEN LOCALIZED VISIBILITIES
IN OPEN COUNTRY COULD BE REDUCED TO LESS THAN ONE HALF MILE.
THERE IS THE POSSIBILITY OF SHORT DURATION...LOCALIZED NEAR
BLIZZARD CONDITIONS WHEN THE STRONG WINDS COMBINE WITH HEAVIER
FALLING SNOW...OR AREAS THAT HAVE SNOW ON THE GROUND. WINDS WILL
REMAIN QUITE STRONG THROUGH MUCH OF SUNDAY NIGHT INTO MONDAY...AND
SOME BLOWING SNOW MAY LINGER UNTIL WINDS SUBSIDE LATER ON SUNDAY
NIGHT.

BE SURE TO STAY TUNED TO LATER UPDATES ON THIS BLOWING SNOW POTENTIAL
FOR SUNDAY AFTERNOON INTO SUNDAY NIGHT.
