FOR NORTHERN CENTRAL BROWARD AND SOUTH CENTRAL PALM BEACH COUNTIES
UNTIL 745 PM EDT...

* AT 707 PM EDT...DOPPLER RADAR WAS TRACKING A LINE OF STRONG
  THUNDERSTORMS ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM 6 MILES NORTHWEST OF
  PARKLAND TO 13 MILES NORTHWEST OF CORAL SPRINGS TO 10 MILES
  SOUTHEAST OF HOLEY LAND WILDLIFE REFUGE. THESE STORMS WERE
  DRIFTING SLOWLY SOUTHWARD.

* THE MAIN IMPACT WILL BE FREQUENT TO EXCESSIVE LIGHTNING. LIGHTNING
  IS THE NUMBER ONE WEATHER RELATED KILLER IN FLORIDA. TREES AND OPEN
  SHELTERS FOUND IN PARKS...ON BEACHES OR GOLF COURSES OFFER NO
  PROTECTION FROM THE DANGERS OF LIGHTNING. SEEK SHELTER IN A SAFE
  BUILDING UNTIL THE STORM PASSES.

* LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...
  CORAL SPRINGS...TAMARAC...PARKLAND...LOXAHATCHEE NWR AND RAMBLEWOOD
  EAST.

TORRENTIAL RAINFALL IS ALSO OCCURRING WITH THESE STORMS...AND MAY
LEAD TO STREET FLOODING. DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE THROUGH FLOODED
