...WINTER STORM WATCH IN EFFECT FROM SATURDAY EVENING THROUGH
MONDAY MORNING...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BILLINGS HAS ISSUED A WINTER
STORM WATCH...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM SATURDAY EVENING THROUGH
MONDAY MORNING.

* TIMING...SNOW WILL DEVELOP SATURDAY EVENING. PERIODS OF HEAVY
  SNOWFALL WILL IMPACT THE WEST AND NORTHWEST FACING SLOPES OF THE
  BEARTOOTH AND ABSAROKA MOUNTAINS FROM SATURDAY NIGHT INTO EARLY
  MONDAY.

* IMPACTS...RECREATION IN THE HIGH COUNTRY WILL IMPACTED BY
  ACCUMULATING SNOWFALL AND GUSTY WINDS. AVALANCHE DANGER MAY ALSO
  INCREASE DUE TO THE HEAVY SNOWFALL.

* SNOW ACCUMULATION...10 TO 15 INCHES POSSIBLE.

* WINDS...GUSTS TO 50 MPH ON THE EXPOSED SLOPES AND RIDGES.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WINTER STORM WATCH IS ISSUED WHEN SEVERE WINTER WEATHER IS
POSSIBLE BUT NOT IMMINENT. AT THIS TIME THERE IS A POTENTIAL FOR
SIGNIFICANT SNOW. PLEASE MONITOR THE LATEST FORECASTS.
