...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT MDT
TONIGHT...

* IMPACTS...Heavy, wet snow will cause difficult travel
  conditions due to poor visibility and snow packed roads. This
  includes Highway 14 through Burgess Junction. Power outages
  are possible.

* TIMING...Snow, heavy at times, will continue through today.
  Snow will taper off late this afternoon and evening.

* SNOW ACCUMULATION...Additional 4 to 6 inches expected, with
  higher amounts possible.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Those traveling or with outdoor recreation plans should be
prepared for winter conditions and difficult travel.

  roads. This includes Interstate 90. Power outages are
  possible.

* TIMING...Snow will continue through today. Snow will taper off
  late today.

* SNOW ACCUMULATION...Additional snowfall of 1 to 4 inches,
  greatest west of Interstate 90.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Storm Warning means a significant amount of snow is
expected or occurring. Visibility will be quite poor at times
making travel very hazardous.

TONIGHT...

* IMPACTS...Heavy, wet snow will cause difficult travel
  conditions due to poor visibility and snow packed or slushy
  roads. This includes Interstate 90. Power outages are
  possible.

* TIMING...Snow will continue through this afternoon before
  tapering off late in the day.

* SNOW ACCUMULATION...The heaviest snowfall accumulations are
  expected in the foothills of the Big Horns and Pryors, and over
  higher hills south of Lodge Grass. Additional snowfall over
  these locations will be 2 to 5 inches. Lighter snow totals can
  be expected elsewhere.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Storm Warning means a significant amount of snow is
expected or occurring. Reduced visibility in areas of snow and
fog on slick or slushy roadways will make travel very hazardous.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT MDT TONIGHT...

The National Weather Service in Billings has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for Snow which is in effect until Midnight MDT
tonight.

* IMPACTS...Heavy, wet snow will make for very difficult
  traveling conditions with poor visibility and roads becoming
  snow packed. Downed tree branches and power outages are
  possible. Young livestock may be at risk.

* TIMING...The wet snow will continue through today, tapering off
  this evening.

* SNOW ACCUMULATION...3 to 5 inches.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory can be issued for a variety of winter
weather conditions such as light snow...blowing snow...sleet...
freezing rain...and extreme wind chills.
