...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 615 PM CDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...In Minnesota, Cass and Itasca Counties.

* WHEN...Until 615 PM CDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 304 PM CDT Friday, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due
    to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to
    begin shortly in the advisory area.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Grand Rapids, Cohasset, Coleraine, Deer River, Remer,
    Taconite, Warba, Zemple, Pokegama Lake, Pokegama Dam,
    Schoolcraft State Park, Days High Landing, Gunn, Ball Club,
    Trout Lake Near Bovey, Blackberry, Bovey, Marble, La Prairie
    and Calumet.
  - Flood safety information can be found at
    www.weather.gov/safety/flood.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
