...Strong Winds Possible Through Early Morning...

A four to six hour period of strong northwest winds will be
possible near Lake Superior through early morning. As temperatures
continue to fall, a period of strong sustained winds to 30 mph
with gusts to around 45 mph will become possible. A few locally
higher gusts may also occur. The wind will increase in speed down
the higher terrain of the North Shore. Some areas that would be
impacted include Grand Portage, Grand Marais, Lutsen, Silver Bay,
and Two Harbors.
