...PRECIPITATION EXPECTED TO CHANGE TO ALL SNOW ALONG THE
INTERSTATE 35 AND HIGHWAY 61 CORRIDOR BY 8 PM...

AS OF 620 PM CST...THE RAIN-SNOW TRANSITION LINE EXTENDED FROM
THE NORTH SIDE OF LAKE MILLE LACS... TO CROMWELL... TO CLOQUET...
TO HERMANTOWN... TO BRIMSON... TO BETWEEN ISABELLA AND FINLAND. TO
THE WEST OF THIS LINE...PRECIPITATION HAD CHANGED TO ALL SNOW. TO
THE EAST OF THIS LINE...RAIN... AT TIMES MIXED WITH WET SNOW OR
ICE PELLETS WAS OCCURRING.

THE RAIN-SNOW TRANSITION ZONE IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE MOVING
SLOWLY BUT STEADILY SOUTHEASTWARD THIS EVENING... RESULTING IN A
CHANGE OVER TO ALL SNOW BY AROUND 8 PM IN AREAS ALONG THE ENTIRE
INTERSTATE 35 CORRIDOR TO THE SOUTH OF THE TWIN PORTS... AND ALSO
ALONG THE NORTH SHORE OF LAKE SUPERIOR INCLUDING HIGHWAY 61.

SURFACE TEMPERATURES WILL FALL TO AT OR BELOW FREEZING SHORTLY
AFTER THE TRANSITION TO ALL SNOW...WITH ROADS BECOMING SNOW AND
ICE COVERED AND VERY SLICK BY MID TO LATE EVENING.
