...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT EASTERN CARLTON AND WEST CENTRAL
DOUGLAS COUNTIES...

At 503 PM CDT, a strong thunderstorm was near Carlton, or 7 miles
south of Cloquet, moving northeast at 20 mph.

Wind gusts up to 35 mph, half-inch hail, torrential rainfall, and
occasional cloud to ground lightning can be expected with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Duluth, Cloquet, Hermantown, Scanlon, Carlton, Mahtowa, Wrenshall,
Oliver, Thomson, Pleasant Valley, Gary New Duluth, Fond Du Lac, Jay
Cooke State Park, Esko, and Scotts Corner.

Seek shelter inside a sturdy building and away from windows until
this storm passes.
