The National Weather Service in Duluth MN has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Southern Cass County in north central Minnesota...
  Crow Wing County in east central Minnesota...

* Until 730 PM CDT

* At 649 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Pequot Lakes,
  or 23 miles north of Brainerd, moving southeast at 40 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts, quarter size hail, and localized
           flooding is possible.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* This severe thunderstorm will be near,
  Crosslake and Fifty Lakes around 655 PM CDT.
  Breezy Point and Nisswa around 700 PM CDT.
  Merrifield around 715 PM CDT.
  Brainerd, Crosby, Ironton and Cuyuna around 720 PM CDT.
  Deerwood around 725 PM CDT.

Other locations impacted by this severe thunderstorm include Lake
Roosevelt, Legionville, Lower Hay Lake, North Long Lake, Lake Ada,
Riverton, Cuyuna Country State Park, Upper Mission Lake, Trommald,
and Lake Shore.


Prepare immediately for large hail and damaging winds. People outside
should move immediately to shelter inside a strong building. Stay
away from windows.

If on or near area lakes, get away from the water and move indoors
or inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike 15 miles from
the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder, you are close
enough to be struck by lightning. Move to safe shelter now! Do not
be caught on the water in a thunderstorm.
