Showers and thunderstorms lifted from southern into central
Minnesota overnight. Hail occurred with a few of the stronger storms
over the south, along with heavy downpours and wind gusts to 30 mph.
The cloud cover kept temperatures mild, with pre-dawn readings
ranging in the mid 40s to lower 50s north, to the mid 60s south.

Showers and thunderstorms will continue to lift north across the
state today as a front remains situated across the area. By the
afternoon, most of the activity will be found across the northern
half of the state. High temperatures will range from the low and mid
60s north to the low and mid 80s south where winds will be breezy
from the south.

Tonight, showers and thunderstorms, possibly
producing severe weather and heavy rainfall, will be situated from
southern into east central Minnesota.

The rest of the week looks to be wet and stormy with temperatures
falling back to below normal by the end of the week.
