Rain showers persisted across much of Minnesota overnight, while low
clouds covered all but the northwest tip of the state. Pre-dawn
temperatures ranged from the lower 40s north to the low and mid 50s
south. A brisk north to northeast wind persisted.

Rain showers will gradually taper off this morning, with dry weather
and decreasing clouds during the afternoon. High temperatures will
be around 10 to 15 degrees below normal, ranging from 50 to 60

Clouds will clear over the northern and central parts of the state
tonight, and give way to patchy frost generally north of Interstate
94 where lows will dip into the 30s.

The break in the precipitation will be brief, with rain returning
Friday to the southern half of the state, and expanding statewide on
