A frontal system resides over the Northern Plains this morning and
will shift through Minnesota tonight into tomorrow morning. Isolated
to scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected for much of the
day, though better chances exist tonight. Much of central and
southern Minnesota has a Slight Risk for severe thunderstorms
through tonight.

Additional showers and thunderstorms are possible tomorrow on the
backside of the system and again over the weekend as another weak
system drifts through the region.

Temperatures will continue to run below seasonal norms through the
weekend. Today will be the warmest day over the next week with highs
ranging from the mid 70s to the mid 80s. Starting tomorrow, highs
will generally run in the 60s and 70s with lows in the 40s and 50s.
