Weather Summary for Minnesota
National Weather Service Twin Cities/Chanhassen MN
427 AM CDT Tue Sep 19 2017

It will be cloudy across the state today, though a line of
thunderstorms is expected to develop this afternoon in the Dakotas
that will track into the state. Greatest thunderstorm coverage is
expected across the north, with chances for storms along the Iowa
border pretty small. In addition, storms will be strongest west and
diminishing during the night as they head for the east. We get a
break in the weather Wednesday and Thursday, but will see
thunderstorms return to the northland Thursday night, with a soggy
weekend in store for the western half of the state.

It will be muggy across the south today, but clouds will hold highs
in the 60s and 70s. We`ll see similar highs Wednesday, but summer
returns for the end of the week, with highs in the low 90s expected
across the south on Friday. Temperatures will cool back down for the
weekend thanks to cloud cover from the expected repeated rounds of
thunderstorms.
