Weather Summary for Minnesota
National Weather Service Twin Cities/Chanhassen MN
311 AM CST Wed Jan 17 2018

This morning is the last time we will see widespread temperatures
below zero for at least a week. Much warmer weather is expected
through Saturday, with a good January thaw expected Thursday through
Saturday. The warmest day looks to be Friday, when highs into the
40s look to be common along and south of I-94.

Things then look to get interesting Sunday, with forecast models
continuing to point to a strong winter storm impacting the southeast
Sunday into Monday. Although it will cool down behind this system
next week, it will not be with arctic air.
