Weather Summary for Minnesota
National Weather Service Twin Cities/Chanhassen MN
311 AM CDT Wed Aug 23 2017

With the exception of a few clouds over the Arrowhead, skies were
clear across Minnesota overnight. Winds were light west northwest
and temperatures had fallen into the mid 40s to lower 50s range
prior to daybreak.

High pressure will dominate the area today and provide dry and cool
conditions, with highs in the mid 60s northeast to mid 70s southwest.
A weak upper air disturbance will drop over the region late this
afternoon through tonight and bring a small chance of showers to
much of the state. The cool weather will continue through the
remainder of the week. More widespread showers arrive for Friday and
the weekend.
