CLEAR SKIES WERE COMMON ACROSS MINNESOTA WITH COOL MORNING
TEMPERATURES. SOME AREAS DID HAVE MORNING FOG WHICH DIMINISHED
AFTER SUNRISE. MORNING TEMPERATURES RANGED FROM 25 ON THE IRON
RANGE TO 50 IN THE TWIN CITIES WHILE 40S WERE MOST COMMON. THROUGH
1100AM SKIES REMAIN CLEAR AND TEMPERATURES JUMPED INTO THE 60S AND
LOW 70S.

MILD AND DRY PATTERN FOR THE BEGINNING OF THE MEMORIAL DAY
WEEKEND WITH CHANCES FOR RAIN ON THE INCREASE BY THE MIDDLE OF THE
WEEKEND. AN AREA OF HIGH PRESSURE OVER THE UPPER GREAT LAKES THIS
MORNING WILL SHIFT EASTWARD INTO THE MID ATLANTIC STATES ON
SATURDAY.

A WEAK WARM FRONT WILL SHIFT EAST ACROSS THE EASTERN
DAKOTAS...ACROSS NORTHERN MINNESOTA AND NORTHWEST WISCONSIN. THIS
WILL RESULT IN SOUTHWESTERLY WINDS OF 5 TO 10 MPH BEGIN THE
FRONT...BUT OTHERWISE SUNNY SKIES WILL PREVAIL TODAY. SKIES REMAIN
MOSTLY CLEAR OVERNIGHT BEFORE CLOUDS BEGIN TO INCREASE ON SATURDAY
AHEAD OF BROAD DISTURBANCE ACROSS THE CENTRAL PLAINS MOVING INTO
THE UPPER MIDWEST.

THERE WILL BE CHANCE FOR RAIN SHOWERS ACROSS WEST CENTRAL
MINNESOTA ON SATURDAY...WITH THE CHANCE FOR RAIN EXPANDING
EASTWARD INTO EAST CENTRAL MINNESOTA ON SATURDAY NIGHT.
TEMPERATURES WILL BE MILD THROUGH THE WEEKEND WITH HIGHS IN THE
UPPER 60S TO LOW 70S AND OVERNIGHT LOWS IN THE MID 30S NORTH AND
MID 50S SOUTH.
