...Forecast flooding severity has increased for all or portions of
the following rivers in Iowa...Des Moines River...Raccoon River...

  Affecting the following counties in Iowa...Dallas...Polk

.Heavy rainfall Wednesday evening into this morning will lead to
river and stream flooding...some significant...within
central...south central and southeast Iowa.

River forecasts include observed precipitation...as well as expected
precipitation over the next 24 hours.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you encounter a flooded area...turn around and find an alternate
route. Turn around...do not drown.

* Impact...At  30.0 feet...The following roads are closed...Carlisle
  Road...Hartford Avenue...Southeast 22nd Street...Edison Avenue and
  Granger Avenue. Levee gates are closed north of Walnut Street.
