LIGHT SNOW IS FORECAST TO DEVELOP OVER THE AREA THIS MORNING AND
CONTINUE INTO SUNDAY RESULTING IN SNOW COVERED ROADS AND POOR
TRAVEL AT TIMES. A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT FOR THE
AREA. PLEASE REFER TO THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE WEBSITE AT
WEATHER.GOV/DESMOINES FOR FURTHER DETAILS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

ADDITIONAL LIGHT SNOW OR BLOWING SNOW MAY ACCOMPANY AN ARCTIC
COLD FRONT MONDAY EVENING WHICH MAY RESULT IN LOWER VISIBILITY
AND A PERIOD OF POOR TRAVEL LATE MONDAY EVENING MAINLY NORTH OF
HIGHWAY 20.

BITTER COLD TEMPERATURES AND WIND CHILLS ARE EXPECTED WEDNESDAY
INTO THURSDAY OF NEXT WEEK.

THERE WILL BE ANOTHER CHANCE OF LIGHT SNOW ACCUMULATIONS LATE
THURSDAY OR FRIDAY.
