...Patchy Dense Fog Has Developed Across the Region...

Fog has developed over portions of northern Iowa early this
morning and is likely to hold on overnight...with visibility
lowering to one quarter mile or less at times through sunrise.

If you encounter dense fog...slow down and use low beam headlights
or fog lights to assist your visibility. Be cautious near intersections
and railroad crossings and allow extra stopping distance between you
and the vehicle in front of you. There may be some improvement
during the overnight hours but more likely the fog will lift between
7 and 9 am.
