Hydrologic Outlook
National Weather Service Las Vegas NV
1218 PM PDT Wed May 24 2017

Unregulated flows in creeks along the eastern Sierra Slopes of
Inyo County will continue to run above normal through Friday due
to our recent warm temperatures. There looks to be a slight
decrease in flows over the weekend due to cooler temperatures
on Friday and Saturday. Flows will start to increase on Memorial
Day and continue next week as temperatures warm.

Creeks and other waterways will stay running fast with very cold
water through the Memorial Day Holiday Weekend. Extra caution
should be exercised as exhaustion or unconsciousness from
hypothermia could set in within 30 minutes from water temperatures
between 33 to 40 degrees Fahrenheit.

Localized minor flooding could occur in low lying area of
pastureland or farmland adjacent to creek and streams.
