* AT 336 PM CDT THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUE TO PRODUCE VERY HEAVY RAIN
  ACROSS PORTIONS OF ORLEANS PARISH...ESPECIALLY CLOSE TO LAKE
  PONTCHARTRAIN. ONE TO TWO INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN OVER PORTIONS
  OF NEW ORLEANS WITH AN ADDITIONAL INCH POSSIBLE THROUGH ABOUT 5
  PM.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CAUSE PONDING OF WATER IN
URBAN AREAS...HIGHWAYS...STREETS AND UNDERPASSES AS WELL AS OTHER
POOR DRAINAGE AREAS AND LOW LYING SPOTS.
