The National Weather Service in Topeka has issued a

* Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory for...
  Southeastern Morris County in east central Kansas...
  South central Wabaunsee County in east central Kansas...
  Northwestern Lyon County in east central Kansas...

* Until 915 PM CDT

* At 641 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
  thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding in
  the advisory area. Between two and three inches of rain are
  estimated to have already fallen.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Council Grove, Bushong and Dunlap.

Additional rainfall of an inch or two is possible over the area
before the rain comes to an end. This additional rain could
cause minor flooding.


Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
