FLOOD WARNING
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE INDIANAPOLIS IN
241 PM EST SUN JAN 15 2017

...The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has expanded the
Flood Warning in western and southern Indiana to include the
following rivers...

  East Fork White River...White River...Wabash River...Muscatatuck
  River

.Rainfall of one-half to nearly an inch on Monday night in central
and southern Indiana will cause higher river levels and expand areas
where lowland flooding will occur in western and southern Indiana.
Significant flooding is not expected. Flooding will continue to
affect some local roads...low agricultural land and some river parks
through this week and possibly the week of January 22.


Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...

Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go
another way. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and
agricultural interests should remain alert to changing river
conditions.

The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a

* Flood Warning for
  the Muscatatuck River at Wheeler Hollow.
* FROM LATE TUESDAY NIGHT TO WEDNESDAY EVENING.
* Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river is forecast to have a maximum value of 18.1
  feet Wednesday morning.
* At 18.0 feet...Floods area in a few low spots and woodland areas
  along the river.  Residential property is not directly at this
  point.
