This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of East Arkansas...
the Missouri Bootheel...North Mississippi...and West Tennessee.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

A Heat Advisory is in effect from 11 AM to 7 PM today for
portions of northeast Arkansas, extreme west Tennessee, and
northwest Mississippi, including the Memphis metro area. Heat
indices at or just above 105 degrees are anticipated in the
advisory area this afternoon. Elsewhere, expect heat indices of
100 to 105 degrees.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

Hot and humid conditions will continue through Tuesday. Expect
afternoon heat indices between 100 and 105 degrees across much of
the Mid-South.

A few strong to severe storms will be possible across the Mid-
South late Tuesday into Wednesday. The primary hazard will be
damaging wind.


Spotter activation is not anticipated at this time.
