Weather Summary for Upper Mississippi River Valley

A cold front pushed into central Illinois and northern Missouri
overnight and brought showers and thunderstorms into parts of the
area. Low temperatures ranged from the lower 50s across northern
Minnesota...to the middle to upper 60s across southern Iowa.

Under mostly sunny skies across the region...temperatures were in
the middle 60s to lower 70s this morning. Isolated showers and
thunderstorms are possible across the area this afternoon...as an
upper level disturbance moves into southern Wisconsin. High
temperatures will rise into the upper 60s to middle 70s.

A weak high pressure system over eastern Nebraska and western Iowa
will provide mostly clear to partly cloudy skies across the
region tonight. Low temperatures are expected to fall into the
lower to middle 50s.
