Weather Summary for Upper Mississippi River Valley

A slow moving cold front continued to spread showers and a few
thunderstorms across the area overnight. Otherwise, temperatures
early this morning ranged from the upper 40s to middle 50s.

Scattered showers will linger east of the Mississippi River this
morning, pushing east out of the area by afternoon with clouds
diminishing from west to east through the afternoon. Plan on cooler
highs today with reading topping off in the middle 50s to the lower

Mostly clear skies this evening will give way to increasing clouds
again after midnight as another cold front pushes southeast from the
Northern Plains. Overnight lows will drop into the upper 30s to the
middle 40s.

Looking ahead to Monday, a cold front will sweep southeast through
the region with a chance of showers mainly across Wisconsin.
Otherwise, plan on mostly cloudy skies with highs in the 55 to 60
degree range.
