Weather Summary for Upper Mississippi River Valley
National Weather Service La Crosse WI
1029 AM CST Mon Dec 18 2017

Another night of cloudy skies and patchy fog was seen across the
region, with temperatures staying fairly steady in the mid 20s to
mid 30s.

The cloud cover will slowly decrease today, with parts of
northeast Iowa and far southwest Wisconsin possibly even becoming
mostly sunny. Otherwise, look for southwest winds to be breezy at
times, with high temperatures in the mid 30s to mid 40s.

Dry weather and above normal temperatures will continue through
Tuesday and much of Wednesday before snow chances return to the
area late Wednesday afternoon. Several inches of snow are
possible for at least some part of the area through Friday night,
though exact amounts and locations of the heaviest snow are still
uncertain. With impacts to travel expected, be sure to monitor the
forecast over the next few days.
