Weather Summary for Upper Mississippi River Valley
National Weather Service La Crosse WI
830 pM CDT MON MAY 30 2016

Dry weather prevailed across much of the region today, though by
late afternoon thunderstorms had developed across Iowa. High
temperatures ranged from the mid 70s to mid 80s.

A weather system over the plains will slowly advance toward the area
tonight into Tuesday. This will bring a chance for showers and a few
thunderstorms to the region tonight, a few may be strong.
Thunderstorms then become likely on Tuesday, with another chance
that we may see a few strong storms. By Wednesday morning the the
threat will be mostly ending and moved east of the area.

Looking at the temperatures...expect low temperatures in the upper
50s to mid 60s tonight...with highs on Tuesday in the mid 70s to
mid 80s.

In the longer term...look for our high temperatures to hold in the
70s for the rest of the week.
