Winds switched back to northwest after a cold front dropped
through the area last night. Lows ranged from the upper 20s in the
Platte River Valley to the upper 30s in the Sandhills.

Fair skies and a breeze are expected once again today. Highs will
generally be in the lower to mid 60s. Winds will gust near 25
miles per hour this afternoon. Clouds increase this evening as a
storm system approaches the area. Snow and a wintry mix will
overspread northwest Nebraska after midnight and into the
Sandhills and southwest Nebraska by daybreak. Overnight lows will
be in the upper 20s near the Pine Ridge and lower 30s elsewhere.
