...Moderate to Brief Heavy Snow Possible Tuesday Afternoon and

The storm system expected to impact southeast Wyoming on Tuesday
and Tuesday night could bring hazardous travel impacts to the
I-80 Summit (in the Southern Laramie Range) and also the Laramie
Valley including Laramie during this time. Current confidence is
low as to how much snowfall will occur in these areas as well as
whether temperatures will support snow accumulation at the
surface. Currently, anticipate 2-5" with locally higher amounts
from Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday morning. If temperatures
turn colder than current guidance supports, snow totals may be
higher and winds may be higher. Stay tuned to updates to the
forecast for potential winter weather hazards for these areas.
