...Gusty winds and falling temperatures will result in slick
travel conditions tonight...

A cold front will move across Western New York shortly after
sunset this evening. This will result in an hour or two of strong
winds which will gust to 45 mph this evening. Also, temperatures
will continue to fall below freezing, especially following the
passage of the front. Untreated roads and sidewalks will freeze,
resulting in slick travel conditions. Meanwhile, another round of
snow will move into Western New York this evening, with 1 to 3
inches accumulation expected between sunset and midnight. The
heaviest snow will be across higher terrain in the Western
Southern Tier and Boston Hills. Motorists are urged to exercise
caution, with travel conditions likely to deteriorate tonight.
