...HEAVY RAIN AND MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE IN THE CENTRAL HIGHLANDS OF OHIO...

NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR WAS TRACKING SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS ALONG AND SOUTH OF THE US 30 CORRIDOR. THESE SHOWERS
AND THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING SLOWLY TO THE EAST AT ABOUT 20 MPH.

THESE STORMS HAVE DROPPED VERY HEAVY RAIN OVER THE AREA WITH RADAR
ESTIMATED RAINFALL RATES AS HIGH AS ONE INCH OF RAIN AN HOUR
OVER EASTERN MARION COUNTY. TRAINED WEATHER OBSERVERS HAVE REPORTED
MINOR STREET FLOODING. ISOLATED FLOODING IS POSSIBLE LATE THIS
AFTERNOON WITH THESE STORMS.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. MOST FLOODING DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES. TURN AROUND
DONT DROWN!
