The National Weather Service in Grand Rapids has issued a

* Flood Advisory for...
  Calhoun County in south central Michigan...
  Jackson County in south central Michigan...
  Ingham County in south central Michigan...
  Kalamazoo County in southwestern Michigan...
  Eaton County in south central Michigan...

* Until 545 AM EDT

* At 1251 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
  thunderstorms over the region.  The thunderstorms will taper off
  by 300 am. Locally over an inch of rain may accompany the passage
  of these storms. This will cause minor flooding in the advisory

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Lansing, Kalamazoo, Portage, Jackson, Charlotte, Albion, Mason,
  Marshall, Eaton Rapids, Waverly, Westwood, Vandercook Lake,
  Haslett, East Lansing, Grand Ledge, Battle Creek, Williamston,
  Vicksburg, Potterville and Galesburg.


Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
