...The flood warning continues for the following rivers in Southwest
Lower Michigan...

  Chippewa River Below Mt Pleasant affecting Isabella County

.The river level continues to recede despite the isolated 1 to 2
inches of heavy rain that fell over Mount Pleasant on Saturday
afternoon. Precipitation amounts the next 2 days should be rather
light and will have little to no effect on the river. Flooding
will continue on the river through Tuesday. The following forecast
is based on observed and forecast 24 hour precipitation.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Safety message...Motorists should not attempt to drive around
barricades or drive cars through flooded areas.

The Flood Warning continues for
  the Chippewa River Below Mt Pleasant.
* until late Tuesday night.
* at 10 AM Sunday the stage was 11.2 feet.
* Flood stage is 8.0 feet.
* Moderate Flooding is occurring and Minor Flooding is forecast.
* Forecast, the river fall below 11 feet by Sunday afternoon, and
  will fall below minor flood stage at 8 feet by late Tuesday
  evening.
* Impact, at 11.0 feet...Expect moderate flooding of residences
  located in the north part of Mt. Pleasant.
