The NOAA Weather Radio broadcast from the Kentwood Michigan
transmitter (KIG-63) is operating at low power. This means the
broadcast will be low quality or may periodically fall offline.
Technicians have been notified and are scheduled to visit the site
Monday morning, March 20th. Meanwhile, alternate broadcasts can be
accessed out of West Olive (WXN-99) at 162.425 MHz or Plainwell (WWF-
34) at 162.475 MHz. Severe weather is not forecast to affect the
area serviced by the Kentwood transmitter. However, in the event
weather becomes hazardous, the latest forecasts, watches, warnings
and advisories can be found at
