...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Indiana...
Illinois...

  Kankakee River at Shelby affecting Lake and Newton Counties
  Kankakee River near Wilmington affecting Grundy and Will Counties

.Ice jams can result in rapid fluctuations in water levels with
little or no warning.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Safety message...If you encounter a flooded roadway...turn around and
find an alternate route.

Safety message...River levels may fluctuate rapidly due to ice with
little or no warning. Residents in low lying flood prone areas should
remain alert for possible flooding due to ice jams. Ice jam flooding
can be very localized and not affect all locations along the river as
in a typical river flood.

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Kankakee River at Shelby.
* From Monday morning to Wednesday evening.
* At  745 PM Saturday the stage was 8.7 feet and was ice affected.
* Flood stage is 9.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by Monday morning and continue to
  rise to near 9.3 feet by Tuesday morning. The river will fall below
  flood stage by Wednesday afternoon. Ice jams can result in rapid
  rises in water levels with little or no warning.
* Impact...Ice jam flooding can be very localized and not affect all
  locations along the river. Residents in low lying flood prone areas
  should remain alert for possible flooding due to ice jams.

* At  745 PM Saturday the stage was 7.8 feet and was ice affected.
* Flood stage is 6.5 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue to fall to a stage of 7.5 feet
  by Monday morning. Ice jams can result in rapid rises in water
  levels with little or no warning.
* Impact...Ice jam flooding can be very localized and not affect all
  locations along the river. Residents in low lying flood prone areas
  should remain alert for possible flooding due to ice jams.
