CENTRAL MARQUETTE COUNTY UNTIL 630 PM EDT...

AT 358 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAINFALL BETWEEN NEGAUNEE AND THE CITY
OF MARQUETTE. THIS AREA OF HEAVY RAINFALL IS SLOWLY DRIFTING EAST
TOWARD THE CITY OF MARQUETTE. AT THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN
NEGAUNEE TOWNSHIP...1.85 INCHES OF RAIN FELL BETWEEN 3 PM AND 4 PM
EDT.

RUNOFF FROM THIS EXCESSIVE RAINFALL WILL CAUSE MINOR FLOODING TO
OCCUR. SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING
INCLUDE...MARQUETTE...HARVEY...NEGAUNEE AND TROWBRIDGE PARK.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THIS STORM WILL CAUSE MINOR FLOODING OF SMALL
CREEKS AND STREAMS...URBAN AREAS...HIGHWAYS...STREETS AND UNDERPASSES
AS WELL AS OTHER DRAINAGE AREAS AND LOW LYING SPOTS.
