AKZ155-102000- /O.EXT.PAFC.FA.Y.0006.000000T0000Z-240510T2000Z/ /00000.N.IJ.000000T0000Z.000000T0000Z.000000T0000Z.OO/ Kuskokwim Delta AK- 927 AM AKDT Wed May 8 2024 ...THE FLOOD ADVISORY FOR ICE JAM FLOODING HAS BEEN EXTENDED AND CONTINUES IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON AKDT FRIDAY... * WHAT...Flooding caused by ice jams continues. * WHERE...Kuskokwim River near Akiak. * WHEN...Until noon AKDT Friday. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding of low areas and roadways continued in Akiak. Additional flooding is possible as water moves through the system. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 915 AM AKDT, the ice jam front had broken and moved further downstream of Akiak, however additional river rises and flooding continued.
