INTO NORTHWEST ILLINOIS. THESE STORMS BROUGHT BRIEF
DOWNPOURS AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING TO AREAS MAINLY NORTH OF I-80.
THE HEAVIEST RAIN FELL ACROSS TAMA...BENTON...AND BUCHANAN
COUNTIES. MORNING LOW TEMPERATURES RANGED FROM 63 DEGREES IN
INDEPENDENCE AND VINTON...TO 77 DEGREES IN KEOKUK AND FORT
MADISON.

ADDITIONAL SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE OVER
NORTHERN ILLINOIS THIS MORNING...AS THE COLD FRONT PUSHES EAST
INTO CENTRAL ILLINOIS. OCCASIONAL LIGHTNING AND BRIEF HEAVY RAIN
WILL BE COMMON. OTHERWISE...DRY CONDITIONS WILL BE SEEN. COOLER
CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED TODAY COMPARED TO PREVIOUS DAYS...WITH
HIGHS RANGING FROM THE MIDDLE 70S NEAR WATERLOO...TO THE UPPER 80S
IN WEST CENTRAL ILLINOIS. THE ACTIVE WEATHER PATTERN CONTINUES
OVERNIGHT TONIGHT...WITH ADDITIONAL SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS
DEVELOPING AFTER MIDNIGHT ACROSS THE REGION...WITH THE GREATEST
CHANCE OF RAIN IN AREAS ALONG AND NORTH OF I-80. OVERNIGHT LOW
TEMPERATURES...WILL BE IN THE UPPER 50S NORTH OF HIGHWAY 20...TO
THE UPPER 60S IN NORTHEAST MISSOURI AND WEST CENTRAL ILLINOIS.
