TEMPERATURES WERE FOUND ACROSS EASTERN IOWA...NORTHWEST
ILLINOIS...AND NORTHEAST MISSOURI EARLY MONDAY...AS AN AREA OF LOW
PRESSURE LIFTED ACROSS KANSAS. LIGHT RAIN FELL ACROSS MUCH OF THE
REGION AS OF 9 AM...WITH RAIN AMOUNTS MAINLY LESS THAN A TENTH OF
INCH REPORTED. TEMPERATURES AS OF 9 AM...WERE IN THE UPPER 40S AND
LOWER 50S.

CLOUDY SKIES AND MILD TEMPERATURES WILL BE THE NORM TODAY...AS AN
AREA OF LOW PRESSURE LIFTS NORTHEAST FROM KANSAS CITY TO CHICAGO. A
BAND OF LIGHT RAIN WILL LIFT NORTH ACROSS NORTHEAST IOWA AND
NORTHERN ILLINOIS THIS MORNING...BRINGING A BRIEF PERIOD OF LIGHT
RAIN TO THOSE AREAS. THERE WILL BE A BREAK IN THE RAIN DURING THE
MORNING AND EARLY AFTERNOON HOURS...BEFORE ADDITIONAL SCATTERED
SHOWERS AND PERHAPS AN ISOLATED THUNDERSTORM...TRACKS OVER THE
REGION DURING THE AFTERNOON AND EVENING. TEMPERATURES TODAY WILL
BE NEARLY STEADY...HOVERING IN THE UPPER 40S AND LOWER 50S
THROUGHOUT MOST OF THE DAY. A COLD FRONT WILL PUSH THROUGH THE
REGION EARLY TUESDAY...BRINGING COLDER WEATHER AND BLUSTERY
CONDITIONS ON TUESDAY.
