High pressure over the Great Lakes kept mostly clear skies and
light winds across the region overnight. Temperatures were cool,
with lows ranging from 20 degrees at Freeport to 30 degrees at
Keokuk and Muscatine.

today will be sunny and cool with high temperatures in the lower
to middle 40s. Clouds spreading into the region from the southwest
will bring a chance for rain to parts of Iowa, Missouri, and
Western Illinois Thursday and Thursday night. Low temperatures
will slip into the 20s to mid 30s tonight, then as warmer air
moves into the midwest expect temperatures to stay in the 40s
Thursday and Thursday night.
