THE REGION SAT ON THE WESTERN EDGE OF HIGH PRESSURE THROUGH THE
DAY ON SATURDAY. THIS LED TO ANOTHER PLEASANT DAY ACROSS THE
REGION ON SATURDAY WITH SUNNY SKIES AND SOUTHERLY WINDS OF 10 TO
15 MPH. HIGH TEMPERATURES ON SATURDAY RANGED FROM 76 DEGREES AT
DUBUQUE TO 82 DEGREES AT STERLING.

CLOUDS WILL OVERSPREAD THE REGION ONCE AGAIN TONIGHT AHEAD OF A
STORM SYSTEM SLOWLY LIFTING NORTHEASTWARD INTO THE PLAINS. THIS
WILL BRING THE CHANCE OF  RAIN SHOWERS TO EASTERN
IOWA...NORTHWEST ILLINOIS...AND NORTHEAST AFTER MIDNIGHT ON SUNDAY.
LOW TEMPERATURES ON SUNDAY MORNING WILL RANGE FROM 56 DEGREES AT
FREEPORT TO 61 DEGREES AT FORT MADISON.
