The National Weather Service in Corpus Christi has issued a

* Flood Advisory for...
  Northwestern Calhoun County in south Texas...
  Southeastern Victoria County in south central Texas...

* Until 530 PM CDT

* At 232 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to a
  persistent thunderstorm lingering over the area. This will cause
  minor flooding in the advisory area.
  4 to 5 inches of rain have fallen.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Placedo.

Additional rainfall of half of an inch to one inch is expected over
the area within the next few hours. This additional rain may result
in minor flooding.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
