...A FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 945 AM CDT WEDNESDAY FOR
NORTHEASTERN RENO COUNTY...

AT 316 PM CDT...COW CREEK ABOVE HUTCHINSON WAS AT 9.6 FEET AND
SLOWLY RISING. THIS WAS JUST ABOVE THE FLOOD STAGE OF 9.5 FEET. THE
CREEK IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE A SLOW RISE TO AROUND 9.7 FEET THIS
EVENING...AND REMAIN JUST ABOVE FLOOD STAGE THROUGH EARLY WEDNESDAY
MORNING.

THE HIGH WATER LEVELS HAVE IMPACTED SOME AREA ROADS...WITH EMERGENCY
MANAGEMENT REPORTING ROAD CLOSURES ON SALLEE BETWEEN 82ND AVENUE AND
95TH AVENUE AND ON 95TH AVENUE BETWEEN DEAN AND SALLEE.

SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...
AREAS EAST OF NICKERSON INCLUDING CROPLAND FLOODING ALONG THE CREEK.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY. MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
