...A Flood Warning continues for portions of the following rivers in
Indiana...

  Wabash River...


.Lowland flooding has developed along portions of the Wabash River.
Significant flooding is not expected. Flooding will affect some local
and state roads...low agricultural land and some river parks.

Scattered areas of three to four inches of rain fell across portions
of western and southern Indiana Saturday night and Sunday morning.
On Sunday afternoon and evening additional rains fell of up to an
inch and a half across central Indiana. The heaviest rain fell across
the East Fork White Basin and portions of the Wabash Basin.

The Wabash has crested in Lafayette as of Sunday and will crest in
areas downstream later this week.  Flooding should end by Thursday.


Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...

Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go
another way. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and
agricultural interests should remain alert to changing river
conditions.

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Wabash River at Lafayette.
* until Tuesday afternoon.
* At  9:46 PM Sunday the stage was 14.4 feet.
* Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue to fall to below flood stage by
  early Tuesday morning.
* At 14.0 feet...Lowland flooding is in progress.  High water affects
  river cabins near North 9th Street.  Low county roads are nearly
  impassable.  Tapawingo Park in West Lafayette begins to flood.

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Wabash River at Covington.
* until late Tuesday night.
* At  9:45 PM Sunday the stage was 18.2 feet.
* Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 18.4 feet by
  tomorrow morning. The river will fall below flood stage Tuesday
  afternoon.
* At 18.0 feet...Five Crossings, a local county river park at old U.S.
  Highway 136 bridge site, begins to flood.

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Wabash River at Montezuma.
* until Wednesday afternoon.
* At  9:45 PM Sunday the stage was 14.9 feet.
* Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 15.8 feet by
  Tuesday morning. The river will fall below flood stage Wednesday
  morning.
* At 14.0 feet...Several hundred acres of bottomlands along the right
  bank from the mouth of Sugar Creek to northern edge of Montezuma
  begin to flood.

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Wabash River at Terre Haute.
* from Tuesday afternoon to late Wednesday night.
* At 10:00 PM Sunday the stage was 12.3 feet.
* Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by Tuesday afternoon and continue
  to rise to near 14.2 feet by Wednesday morning.  The river will
  fall below flood stage by Wednesday early afternoon.
* At 14.0 feet...Flood waters begin to enter the two breaks in the
  Honey Creek Levee maintained by the Honey Creek Levee Association.
  These two breaks occurred during the April 2013 flood.

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Wabash River at Hutsonville Legacy Power Plant Site.
* from late Monday night to Thursday evening.
* Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river is forecast to have a maximum value of 16.6
  feet Wednesday morning.
* At 16.0 feet...Old Darwin Road and a few low rural roads between
  York and Hutsonville, Illinois begin to flood.  Agricultural
  flooding begins along portions of the river.

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Wabash River at Riverton.
* from late Tuesday night to Thursday evening.
* At  9:00 PM Sunday the stage was 12.2 feet.
* Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by early Wednesday morning and
  continue to rise to near 15.3 feet by early Thursday morning.  The
  river will fall below flood stage by late Thursday morning.
* At 16.0 feet...Some agricultural lands underwater.  A few rural
  roads in Crawford County, Illinois close as water backs up Minnow
  Slough.  High water affects campground at Leaverton Park in
  Palestine.  A few private roads near the Gill Township levee in
  Sullivan County may flood.  Water level is at the top of most
  makeshift levees.
