The National Weather Service in Jacksonville has issued a

* Flood Advisory for...
  Central Alachua County in northern Florida...
  Southern Bradford County in northern Florida...

* Until 1015 PM EST

* At 710 PM EST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
  thunderstorms. This will cause minor flooding in the advisory area.
  Up to two inches of rain has already fallen. An additional inch or
  two is possible.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Gainesville, Starke, Alachua, Archer, University Of Florida, Orange
  Heights, Sampson, Gainesville Airport, Newnans Lake and Waldo.


Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding
of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
